Shakib Al Hasan will continue in politics.

The world-class all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan, got involved in politics towards the end of his cricket career. He was also elected as a Member of Parliament from the Magura-1 constituency in the 12th National Parliamentary Election.

Due to the political change in the country following the mass uprising, he has been outside the country for more than a year. Even in this situation, he sees his future in politics. He shared this plan while participating in a recent podcast.

Although Shakib is currently residing outside the country, he still sees his future in politics. He stated that he wants to be involved in politics for a long time.

Shakib said, “I think I have almost finished the cricket part of my career. However, the political part is still remaining. This is something I want to do for the people of Bangladesh and the residents of Magura. This was my desire and it still is. Let’s see where Allah takes me.”

He was outside the country even before the political change in August of last year and has not been able to return since. However, during this time, he has continued to campaign for his political party through social media.
