Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Porwar has expressed deep dissatisfaction over the speech delivered by the Chief Adviser during the funeral prayers (Janaza) of martyred activist Hadi. He stated that the nation expected a more definitive and courageous stance from the head of the interim government.
Speaking to the media after the ceremony on Sunday (December 21), Golam Porwar said, “The nation is disappointed by the Chief Adviser’s remarks. At a time when the people expected a clear direction and justice for the martyrs, his words lacked the necessary resolve. The sacrifices made by our brothers like Hadi deserve more than just vague statements.”
The Jamaat leader emphasized that the blood of the martyrs is the foundation of the current change in the country and called upon the government to fulfill its promises to the people and the families of the deceased without any hesitation.
