Popular West Bengal actor Jeet has met with an accident while filming his upcoming movie. The incident occurred on the set of ‘Keu Bole Biplobi, Keu Bole Dakat’ (Some call him a revolutionary, some call him a bandit), directed by Pathikrit Basu. Following the injury, the shoot has been suspended indefinitely.

According to reports from Indian media, the accident took place while filming a crucial action sequence. Jeet had a packed shooting schedule throughout the week; however, all work is now expected to be postponed considering his physical condition.
The production house and director have not yet disclosed the exact nature or location of the injury. Director Pathikrit Basu stated that he cannot currently confirm a date for resuming the shoot.
In this film, Jeet portrays the historical figure Ananta Singh. Born in Chittagong in 1903, Ananta Singh was a close associate of Masterda Surya Sen and a key hero of the Chittagong Armoury Raid. The action-drama aims to capture those turbulent days of the anti-British movement.
Ananta Singh’s life took a controversial turn in his later years when he became involved in Naxalite politics and was associated with sensational bank robberies, viewed by many as a “savior of the common people.” It was during the rigorous effort to bring this colorful and complex historical character to life that the actor sustained his injuries. Fans and well-wishers across the region are now praying for Jeet’s speedy recovery.
