Model Gang-Rape Case: Director Nasiruddin Masud Arrested in Dhaka

DHAKA, BANGLADESH — Director Nasiruddin Masud was arrested late Saturday, November 22, in Uttara, Dhaka, by the Gazipur District Police Detective Branch (DB). Masud had been on the run following his alleged involvement in the gang-rape of a model at a resort in Gazipur’s Sripur.

The victim filed a rape case on September 21 at the Sripur Police Station. She named two main accused, Mohammad Nasir (35) and Mohammad Babor (32), along with an unidentified third person, later identified as Abul Hasen.
