Actress Tania Brishty, who started her journey in the showbiz arena in $2012$, first appeared in a film in $2015$ with Akram Khan’s movie ‘Ghashful’. Although she worked on one more film afterward, she could not establish herself prominently on the big screen. Therefore, she focused on the small screen, establishing herself as a proven actress. This established actress is now returning to the big screen after a long break of eight years.

Actress Tania Brishty is starring in Rayhan Khan’s new film, ‘Tribunal’. She recently spoke about her comeback at an event organized for the film.

Tania said, “In the last few years, I have faced many questions about whether I would act in films. Now, the answer to that question is known to almost everyone. I am returning to the big screen with ‘Tribunal’.”

Explaining the reason for the long hiatus, she said, “After the ‘Vich-Channel i Top Model’ competition, I signed a contract for films with them. Later, I realized that cinema is a very large canvas. To work here, one has to survive with merit. So, I worked on the small screen to prepare myself. In these eight to ten years, I have prepared myself for the big screen. From now on, I want to work in films regularly.”

At one point, Tania Brishty regularly worked on $10$ to $15$ dramas a month, including new and old ones. Currently, due to her busy film schedule, she is able to dedicate less time to the small screen. However, she has no intention of quitting drama.

The actress stated firmly, “The audience knows me through drama. No one would recognize me without this platform. So, there is no question of quitting drama just because I am doing films. I can never leave drama. However, the amount of work in drama might decrease due to films. Therefore, I plan to be selective about the work I take on.”

Tania has reduced her drama work to increase her focus on cinema. Before the shooting of ‘Tribunal’, she rehearsed for a continuous month with actor Tariq Anam Khan. The film, which is based on a true story, raises questions about justice, morality, and the politics hidden behind every verdict. Consequently, she had to take special preparation for the role.

Speaking about her special preparation, she said, “I went directly into the field to observe the character given to me by the director. To understand the character’s suffering, I spoke with patients at a hospital for hours. I tried as much as possible. The audience will understand once the film is released.”

She also mentioned that the film’s shooting will finish this month and is planned for release during the next Eid-ul-Fitr (Ramazan Eid).
