Even after nearly 30 years, actor Shah Rukh Khan and actress Kajol celebrated a memorable moment from the popular Bollywood film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (DDLJ). The duo unveiled a bronze sculpture in London’s Leicester Square, created in the iconic pose from the film’s memorable scene. Kajol’s children—son Yug and daughter Nysa—were present at the event.

In the viral photos, Shah Rukh Khan is seen standing next to Kajol holding an umbrella amidst heavy rain; both are smiling and happy. The sculpture is clearly visible behind them. The statue is made in the famous pose of Kajol’s character Simran and Shah Rukh’s character Raj.

Kajol told reporters, “This is truly incredible. Standing in front of the sculpture with our children feels like reliving old memories in a new way. The love that ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ is still receiving after 30 years is truly amazing.”

Shah Rukh Khan commented, “We made this film with our whole hearts. It is a story of love that can overcome all obstacles. Maybe that’s why it still holds an intact place in people’s hearts after 30 years. Kajol and I are truly happy to see this love.”

A video went viral during the sculpture’s unveiling. The video shows Shah Rukh standing next to Kajol, holding an umbrella; Kajol is seen calling her son and daughter. Nysa is happily posing for the camera, while Yug appears a bit shy. This moment quickly spread on social media, and fans expressed their excitement.

Directed by Aditya Chopra, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ was released in 1995 and is still cherished by generations of cinema lovers as a romantic classic.
