Oli Ahmed’s LDP and NCP Join Jamaat-led Alliance; Now a 10-Party Bloc

Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Chairman Oli Ahmed Bir Bikram and the National Citizen Party (NCP) have joined the Jamaat-e-Islami-led 8-party alliance. With their participation, the alliance has officially emerged as a 10-party coalition.

The announcement was made by Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman at a press conference held at the National Press Club on Sunday (December 28). The event was moderated by Maulana Mamunul Haque.

During the conference, the Ameer stated that he had recently spoken with NCP Convener Nahid Islam, and the NCP is expected to make its formal announcement by tonight.

Top leaders from the other member parties of the alliance were also present at the press conference.
