In November, Bangladesh received $2.8895 billion (288 crore 95 lakh) in remittances, marking the highest monthly inflow of the current 2025-2026 fiscal year. This calculates to an average daily inflow of $96.3 million. This information was reported on Monday (December 1) based on the updated report from the Bangladesh Bank.
The report details that the total remittance inflow in November stood at $2,889,520,000. The breakdown by banking channel is as follows:

The November figure surpasses the remittances received in the preceding months of the current fiscal year:
October: $2.56348 billion
September: $2.68588 billion
August: $2.42189 billion
July: $2.47800 billion
Furthermore, the overall remittance for the entire 2024-2025 fiscal year totaled $30.32 billion (or $3,032.80 crore), which set a national record for the highest annual inflow of expatriate earnings in the country’s history.
