Popular small-screen actress Tanjin Tisha has broken her silence. She addressed recent rumors and false information spread on social media. These rumors concerned the Indian film ‘Bhalobashar Morshum,’ directed by M. N. Raj. Tisha issued an official statement, firmly calling the circulating claims “completely false and fabricated.”

Visa Failure Led to Withdrawal
Tisha’s contract clearly stated the responsibilities of the director and producer. They were responsible for all her foreign travel logistics. This included securing her visa, flight tickets, and managing accommodation. Unfortunately, the director and production house failed to secure her visa. Tisha even tried securing the visa herself but failed.
Tisha argues the visa complexity was the director’s responsibility. Therefore, she holds no legal liability for this failure. She calls it a “direct failure” by the director.
Line Producer Attempts Extortion
Tisha waited two months for the visa. When the visa did not arrive, the production house signed a different actress. This decision forced Tisha to withdraw from the project. She then signed a contract for a new Bangladeshi film. She is currently shooting this new movie.
Tisha said she never wanted to damage her professional reputation. She explained, “The director’s failure prevented the work from starting on schedule. Since they contracted a new actress, I had to step aside.”
Tisha now faces accusations. She claims, “The line producer, Sharif, is attempting to extort money.” He has offered varying terms to her lawyer and is spreading false information to journalists. Tisha calls this a “malicious attempt.”
Compliance Only If Court Directs
Tisha maintains her contract has no clause forcing her to return the money. This applies specifically when the director is at fault. She respects the law completely.
She stated, “If they can prove in court that I must return the money, I will comply.” She promised to abide by any court directives.
Finally, she appealed to reporters: “I expect you to publish the truth. Please know all the facts first.”
