During the winter, the humidity in the air significantly drops, which causes the skin to dry out and increases the problem of chapped lips. One particular reason behind chapped lips is that the warm air from breathing (exhaled air) hits the lips directly (due to their position below the nose), which causes them to dry out quickly. Additionally, a deficiency of Vitamins B and C is a major cause of chapped lips. Many people have a bad habit of wetting or licking their lips, which makes the lips even drier and worsens the problem.

Today we will try to finD out what home remedies can solve this issue:
Home Remedies to Treat Chapped Lips
Use Vaseline/Boroline: Before going to bed at night, apply a good amount of Vaseline or Boroline to your lips. Applying a slightly thicker layer will keep the lips moisturized all night. This will help resolve the problem by morning.
Use Olive Oil: Take a small amount of olive oil in your hand and gently massage it onto your lips. Doing this before going to sleep or while taking a bath will help keep your lips soft and provide benefits.
Keep Lips Moisturized All Day: Always carry Vaseline or Boroline in your pocket or bag. Use it as needed throughout the day. This prevents the lips from drying out, resolving the issue.
Drink Plenty of Water: Drinking plenty of water is essential to avoid chapped lips in winter. If your body suffers from a water deficit (dehydration), this problem can worsen. Therefore, you should drink seven to eight glasses of water daily in any season.
