The Bangladesh government strongly condemned the interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla in international waters by Israeli forces.

The flotilla was carrying humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza, according to an official statement. This act is a clear violation of international law and an example of Israel using hunger as a tool of war.
Bangladesh demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all detained aid workers and activists, ensuring their safety and well-being.
The government also called on Israel to end its illegal occupation of Gaza and the West Bank, respect international humanitarian law, and stop its genocidal war and blockade on Gaza.
The flotilla embodies global solidarity with the occupied Palestinian people.
Israel must allow unrestricted access to Gaza, where civilians are being denied basic rights to life, dignity, and livelihood. The people and government of Bangladesh stand firmly with Palestine in this time of severe distress and ongoing suffering.
