Sports Desk : Real Madrid have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign Ivorian winger Yan Diomande in a deal that could become the club’s most expensive transfer, according to Spanish media reports.

Spanish daily MARCA reported that the transfer could be worth up to €125 million (about $144 million), with an additional €10-15 million in performance-related add-ons.
If completed on those terms, the transfer would surpass Real Madrid’s previous record signing of England midfielder Jude Bellingham, who joined the Spanish giants in 2023 for a reported €103 million plus add-ons.
Reuters said it had contacted both Real Madrid and RB Leipzig for comment, but neither club had immediately responded.
Diomande, 19, enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with Leipzig last season, scoring 12 Bundesliga goals and providing nine assists as the club finished third in the league to secure qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
The Ivorian winger joined Leipzig from Spanish club Leganés last year and also represented Ivory Coast at the recent FIFA World Cup, where the team reached the Round of 32.
