After Two Years, Mim is Back with a New Movie and Web Series

Popular Tollywood actress Vidya Sinha Mim is returning to the big screen after a break of more than two years. She was last seen in the film ‘Manush’ opposite Jeet in October 2023. Since then, no new projects of hers have been released, and she has been absent from the OTT platform for a long time as well. However, she has now announced her return with a major surprise.

Mim has declared 2026 as her “Comeback Year.” During a recent event for the inauguration of a fashion house, she informed that audiences will see her in movie theaters again next year.

Mim also stated that she has already completed the shooting for a new film and a web series. However, she is reluctant to disclose the details until the production companies make an official announcement. In addition to these two projects, Mim has several other films and web content in hand.

The actress mentioned that she will be working regularly on the big screen and OTT platforms starting from 2026. Although no work was released in the past two years, she was waiting for good stories. That wait is soon going to end. The official announcement of her new projects is expected next month.

Before the break, Mim had a great run. In 2022, she gained significant attention with Raihan Rafi’s ‘Poran’ during Eid-ul-Adha. In the same year, her performance was also praised in the director’s other film, ‘Damaal’. The following year saw the release of Dipankar Dipon’s ‘Antarjal’ and Sunny Sanwar’s web series ‘Mission Hunt Down’. All in all, after a long hiatus, Mim is set to appear before the audience with new surprises.
