Three Bangladeshi Expatriates Killed in Malaysia; Co-worker Held

Online Desk : Three Bangladeshi nationals were killed and another seriously injured following a violent altercation at a house in Taman Linggi, Malaysia, on Tuesday, according to Malaysian media.

The New Straits Times reported that police have arrested a Bangladeshi man in his 40s in connection with the incident.

Negri Sembilan Police Chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said officers received a report at around 4:15pm about a fight involving several Bangladeshi nationals at a residence in Taman Linggi.

A team from Linggi Police Station responded to the scene and arrested the suspect.

During the investigation, police recovered the bodies of three Bangladeshi men from the Sua Manggis estate in Linggi. Authorities said the victims had sustained severe injuries to different parts of their bodies.

Another Bangladeshi man was injured in the incident and is currently undergoing treatment at Rembau Hospital.

Preliminary investigations found that all those involved were co-workers who lived and worked together at the same residence. Police said the violence occurred at multiple locations, and investigators are working to determine the sequence of events.

According to police, the suspect has no previous criminal record and was scheduled to be produced before the Port Dickson Magistrate’s Court for a remand hearing.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of Malaysia’s Penal Code on charges of murder, while the motive behind the killings remains under investigation.
