nearly 40% of voters believe BNP will form the next government: Survey

A new survey by Innovision Consulting shows nearly 40% of voters believe BNP will form the next government, leading in six divisions. Jamaat-e-Islami tops Rangpur, while Awami League leads Barishal.

Compared to March, BNP, Jamaat, and NCP saw slight declines, while Awami League’s support rose from 14% to 18.8%. Voter indecision increased to 57.8%.

Regionally, BNP leads in Chattogram, Sylhet, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Khulna, and Dhaka; Jamaat in Rangpur; Awami League in Barishal. Demographics show that older voters favor the BNP and the Awami League, while younger voters prefer the Jamaat.

The survey was presented by Innovision Managing Director Md Rubaiyath Sarwar with officials from Voice for Reform and BRAIN.
