Police Fully Prepared for Joint Operations to Control Law and Order: Police Headquarters

The Bangladesh Police Headquarters has announced that law enforcement personnel are fully prepared to participate in any joint operations alongside other forces to maintain complete control over the law-and-order situation and suppress criminal activities. Authorities confirmed that prompt legal measures will be enacted immediately upon receiving high-level directives.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, Assistant Inspector General (AIG) and Police Headquarters spokesperson H.M. Shahadat Hossain shared these updates. He highlighted that nationwide regular operations targeting illegal arms recovery and extortion have been operating successfully since March of this year to preserve public security and stabilize internal security.

Addressing potential joint operations, AIG Shahadat Hossain stated, “The police force is always ready for joint operations to uphold law and order. As soon as specific instructions are issued by the appropriate authorities, the police will execute all necessary legal measures accordingly.”

According to sources within the Police Headquarters, regular patrols and intelligence surveillance have been significantly intensified across the country as part of an ongoing strategy to strictly crack down on criminals and curb recent crime trends.
