Hackers attack FB livestreaming of argument presentation in Hasina’s ICT case

Unknown hackers attacked the official facebook page of ICT Chief Prosecutor’s office when livestreaming the presentation of arguments against ousted dictator Sheikh Hasina at the tribunal on Sunday.

The page became briefly disabled due to the hacking attempt, but authorities later managed to reactivate it.

International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam revealed the hacking attempt at a press briefing held on the tribunal premises on Sunday.

The culprits wanted to prevent the world from learning about the undeniable proofs that Hasina and her allied committed crimes against humanity during last year’s July-August uprising, Taul alleged.

The also wanted to bar people from knowing the fairness of the entire trial process.
