Khalid Saifullah Sohel Demands Removal of Alleged Awami League Supporters from Secretariat

Bangladesh Youth Forum held a human chain demanding the removal of Awami League-affiliated officials from the Secretariat and the dismissal of corrupt OC Obaidur Rahman of Ishwarganj Police Station, who allegedly supports all types of criminals, including drug dealers, casino operators, black marketers, car robbers, and cattle thieves.

The human chain was held on Wednesday (October 9) in front of the National Press Club.

In the speech, prominent politician and former student leader VP Khalid Saifullah Sohel said that corrupt OC Obaidur Rahman of Ishwarganj Police Station, who fully supports all criminals, including drug dealers, casino operators, black marketers, car robbers, and cattle thieves, must be removed.

He said that removing only Mokhlesur Rahman from the Secretariat is not enough. All Awami League-affiliated officials or employees who are still there must also be removed quickly.

The human chain was presided over by Muhammad Saidur Rahman, president of Bangladesh Youth Forum and chief coordinator of the 15-party Like-minded Democratic Alliance. Local leaders and ordinary people from different parties and religions were present at the event.
