At just 18 years old, Franco Mastantuono has already donned Argentina’s iconic number 10 jersey.In the final World Cup qualifying match against Ecuador, Lionel Messi did not play, prompting coach Lionel Scaloni to entrust the number 10 jersey to midfielder Mastantuono.

Argentina’s coach Lionel Scaloni has already integrated this youngster into the national team and given him playing opportunities.

He was part of the squad for the last two World Cup qualifying matches and has appeared in three matches for Argentina so far. He made his first start on June 5, helping secure a 1-0 win over Chile.
