A low-pressure system formed over the sea has weakened into a depression upon reaching the coast of India, so it will not affect Bangladesh.

The weather office also stated that the seasonal monsoon is active in northern Bangladesh and moderately active in other parts of the country and the northern Bay of Bengal.
The 24-hour forecast from 9 AM Saturday predicts temporary gusty winds with light to moderate rain or thunder showers in most areas of Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and many places in Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. In some places in Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions, moderate to heavy rainfall with very heavy showers may occur.
Day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged nationwide.
